Illinois for Illinois (I4I) and International Programs and Studies (IPS) Study Abroad Undergraduate Scholarships:
The final deadline to apply for scholarships for study abroad programs during Spring Break 2012, Summer 2012, Fall Semester 2012, and Academic Year 2012-2013 is coming up onFebruary 3, 2012. The application is available through 11:59 p.m. on Friday, closing at midnight.
UIUC undergraduates who have paid the study abroad scholarship fee this semester and who are participating in an upcoming University-approved study abroad program are eligible to apply for the I4I. Last semester, approximately 1 in 3 applicants received an I4I Scholarship. Recipients receive $500 for a short-term study abroad program, $1,000 for a semester-length study abroad program, and $2,000 for a year-long study abroad program. Students can apply in the categories of financial need, underrepresented student, general merit, and nontraditional destination.
UIUC undergraduates with a 3.0 or above who are participating in semester-length programs abroad (unless otherwise noted on the website) are also eligible to apply for IPS Donor-funded Scholarships. Award amounts range from $300-$4,500.
